The Manning Building is a heritage-listed landmark located on Fremantle’s iconic High Street Mall. Buckingham Redevelopment Co. was engaged to redevelop and upgrade the interconnected structures that comprise the Manning Buildings, transforming them into a vibrant new retail and commercial precinct.

This complex project brought together the client, consultants, builder, and subcontractors to overcome the challenges of restoring key heritage elements while seamlessly integrating contemporary spaces. Completed in 2020, the redevelopment has revitalised both High Street Mall and the Paddy Troy Lane precinct, contributing significantly to the renewal of Fremantle’s CBD.
